Merry and Bright Christmas

I originally wanted a gold deer.  I did not have any gold paper(I take that back.. probably stashed somewhere really well….. ).  I also wanted to hang a small bell around it’s neck to finish it off.  But doh… my Christmas stash is somewhere in Chicago or Indiana and I can’t get it until I go visit.  Christmas this year is going to be interesting.  Vegas is not really known to be super cold and snowy.  Coming from Indiana…. going to miss the wintery cold Christmas feel.

Super duo heros

I think this is my favorite set of all time.  These characters just make me smile.  I was reminded today to but the Mama Elephant hero set to add to the collection.  The background was done with four different distress ink, watercolor style.  Don’t you love sunsets?

Gold sparkle love you card

gold sparkle love you card

Wow… has it been over 3 years since I made a card for a blog challenge? Since then I have moved my craft space three times and just settled into a new one.  I am currently residing in Las Vegas and ready to craft.  Here I started today with a simple elegant card.  As I grow older, my design has changed.  I still love the simple style, but still takes me forever to make.  I think I am just rusty!??!?

Corny corn thanks

I usually save my best project for last.  I didn’t get to use Lawn Fawn Happy Feast last year for the Thanksgiving holiday card, so I wanted to make sure I used it this year.  I drowned the corn in yellow and clear wink of stella glitter pen.  I love the mama elephant index card femme frame type to make my cards.  It makes it cute, sturdy and easy to whip up cards in minutes.  I didn’t actually mind fussy cutting the corn as I watched Criminal Minds on tv.
