You deserve the best

Here is a card I made with the very cute chrysanthemum set.  I paper pieced her dress from a random scrap of paper.  But I do know the background paper! It’s from My Mind’s eye lost and found.

Some bunny loves you

I love this tag challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday blog.  Maybe it’s because I don’t make enough!! It’s great to have some extras around.  This stamp set is from studio g. I picked it up at Joann’s and it’s such a cute bunny.  Still waiting to buy my mama elephant bunny set.  Til then.. this will have to do……

Animal Stack Happy Birthday!

Morning. I can feel the birds singing to me.  Maybe because I see the card as I am typing and I really do hear birds outside my window.  It’s not the happy birthday song though. I have some exciting news!  I am going to try to film more! Warning!! I have tons of awkward moments and I tend to say uhm a lot.  Did I even pass my speech class? Nevertheless… I have tons of ideas and can’t wait to start filming.

Here is a card that I made last night. Aren’t they so cute? Kind of remind me of animal crackers. I got two new stamp sets and I  kept on staring at them.. and staring at them.  I plopped all the animals out and started to rearrange them to my liking.  I kind of got nervous towards the end from stamping.. haha. I smudge or mess up and you have to start all over!  I used my color pencil and gamsol to color them in.  The silver color on the hippo did not want to blend.  sigh.  My sister took my 132 prismacolor pencils and left me with a 48 pack. I miss the 10 shades of grays I had abundant of.  Just got to wait until she gets bored from them.  I thought the paper needed some more color so I took worn lipstick and mustard seed distress ink and spritz water into it and flicked the ink onto the paper.
